The AQUAFILTER FCPP5 is a sediment filter cartridge manufactured from polypropylene yarn, designed for mechanical filtration of cold water. Its wound construction provides effective depth filtration, capturing sand, silt, rust and other suspended particles down to 5 micron. It is particularly useful as a pre-filtration stage, helping protect subsequent cartridges and water-treatment equipment from sediment accumulation.
With dimensions of 9 7/8" × 2 1/2", the FCPP5 is suitable for compatible standard 10-inch filter housings. The polypropylene construction provides good chemical resistance and is suitable for domestic and light commercial water-treatment installations, including use before carbon filters and reverse-osmosis systems.
