The Bosch EXPERT HEX-9 HardCeramic 10 mm drill bit combines Bosch Carbide Technology with a finely ground, multi-faceted tip for drilling hard ceramic tiles. The centring point helps position the start of the hole, while the asymmetric cutting faces share the cutting work.
This single drill bit is 90 mm long overall and is suitable for tile installation work, including bathroom and roof tiles. It is designed for dry drilling without a cooling system. The ¼-inch hex shank can be held in a compatible three-jaw chuck or ¼-inch internal hex tool holder.

Use: drill tiles in rotary mode only, without hammer action, and start at low speed. Once through the tile, change to a suitable masonry or concrete bit for the material behind it. For a 10 mm hole in hard ceramic tile, Bosch recommends pre-drilling with a smaller 6, 7 or 8 mm bit.
