The Beurer Medical BM 49 is a fully automatic digital upper arm blood pressure monitor designed for convenient and reliable monitoring of blood pressure and pulse rate at home. Its large illuminated XL display presents the measured values clearly, while the integrated voice function announces the results acoustically. The voice volume can be adjusted according to the user’s needs or switched off completely. Available voice-output languages may vary depending on the product version. The monitor features a colour-coded risk indicator for easy classification of blood pressure readings. It also includes arrhythmia detection, which provides a warning in the event of a possible heart rhythm disturbance. Two separate user memories allow up to 60 readings to be stored for each user. The device also calculates the average of all stored measurements, as well as morning and evening averages for the previous seven days.
