Autoglym Exterior Trim Restorer Kit is an advanced, long-lasting treatment designed to restore and protect dull and faded unpainted exterior plastic trim.
Its innovative SolGel technology penetrates the microscopic pores of the plastic and bonds with the surface, restoring its original colour and factory-fresh appearance. It does not turn all plastics black but restores their natural shade, whether black, grey or another dark colour.
Once applied, it leaves a deep, rich and even satin finish while helping protect the surface against further fading for more than 3 months. Actual durability may vary depending on weather conditions, vehicle use and cleaning frequency.
It is suitable for unpainted plastic bumpers, wheel-arch trims, mirror housings, door protectors, side skirts and exterior side mouldings.
The concentrated 30 ml bottle can treat up to 5 average-sized vehicles. The kit includes a dedicated foam applicator pad for easy and even product application.

Directions for Use
- Thoroughly clean the plastic trim before application. For best results, use Autoglym All Purpose Cleaner.
- Make sure the surface is completely clean and dry.
- Apply a few drops of product to the grey, lighter-coloured side of the foam applicator pad.
- Spread the product over the trim using straight and even movements.
- Avoid contact with painted bodywork, glass and tyres.
- If the product reaches an unwanted surface, remove it immediately using a clean microfibre cloth.
- Allow the product to work for 5 minutes and then lightly buff the surface with a clean microfibre cloth.
- Allow the coating to cure for at least 20 minutes before driving.
- Avoid contact with water or moisture for at least 1 hour.
- Do not wash the vehicle for 24 hours after application.
Applicator Pad Care
- Rinse the applicator pad with warm water immediately after use.
- Allow it to air dry completely before storage.
- Replace the pad if its surface becomes hard, damaged or cracked.
Important Information
- Apply only in dry conditions.
- Do not apply when rain or high humidity is expected.
- Not suitable for painted plastic or colour-coded bodywork components.
- Painted plastic should be treated in the same way as the vehicle’s painted bodywork.
- Not suitable for use on tyres.
- Use a dedicated tyre dressing for tyre surfaces.
- Avoid very strong or undiluted traffic film removers.
- When using a pressure washer, maintain a sensible distance from the treated surface.
Household Plastic Use
The product may also provide good results on certain dark outdoor plastic items, such as garden chairs, storage units and composite doors.
Use only on darker colours such as black, grey or dark blue, and always test on a small, inconspicuous area first. Results may vary depending on the material.

Receipts from the Company's store are made from Monday to Friday from 08:00 - 20:00, Saturday from 08:00 - 19:00 and Sunday from 10:00 - 19:00.
