Suitable Surfaces

Suitable for new or previously painted interior surfaces such as:

• Concrete
• Plaster
• Brickwork
• Plasterboard
• Skim-coated surfaces
• Previously painted surfaces

Surface Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, dry and smooth, free from dust, grease, oil and loose or flaking materials.

VITEX Kitchen & Bath may be applied directly to previously painted surfaces that are in good condition and have no loose areas or adhesion problems.

Acrylic Putty or Visto may be used to fill holes and repair cracks.

Surfaces affected by mould, fungi or related stains should first be cleaned with Kitchen & Bath Cleaner.

Previously limewashed or distemper-painted surfaces should be primed with Acrylan Unco Eco or Durovit.

New plaster, concrete, brickwork and plasterboard surfaces, as well as skim-coated surfaces, should be primed with Primer 100% Acrylic or Acrylan Unco Eco.

Surfaces stained with nicotine, smoke, marker ink, coffee or other difficult contaminants should be primed with Blanco Eco or Vitosin.

Application Instructions

1. Dilute the product with up to 10% clean water.
2. Stir thoroughly before use.
3. Apply the first coat using a roller, brush or airless spray gun.
4. Apply the second coat after 3–4 hours.

Application Conditions

• Application temperature: Between 5°C and 35°C
• Maximum relative humidity: 80%
• Surfaces must be completely dry before application.
• Drying times may be affected by temperature, humidity and room ventilation.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Surfaces painted with VITEX Kitchen & Bath may be washed at least three weeks after application.

Use a soft sponge and water for cleaning. A mild, colourless detergent may be used for persistent stains.

Clean tools immediately after use with water and, when necessary, soap or detergent.

Additional Information

• The product should be tinted exclusively through the Vitex Coloring System using the recommended tinting base.
• Calculate the required quantity before application to minimise product waste.
• Seal the container tightly after use and store any remaining product for future application.
• Do not dispose of cleaning water into the ground or groundwater system.
