Active Clear Glass from AstralPool is an innovative glass filter media made from recycled glass. The angular particle shape and high bound silica content significantly improve turbidity removal compared to traditional silica sand, capturing finer particles and ensuring clearer water.
Its non-porous composition reduces clumping and ensures high permeability, lowering backwash time and costs. The smooth surface of the glass particles prevents biofouling, keeping the filter cleaner for longer and reducing the need for additional chemical treatment.
Requiring less media to fill a filter, maintaining consistent performance over time, and resisting degradation, Active Clear Glass is ideal for modern pool filtration systems seeking efficiency, durability, and environmental benefits.
