VITEX SUPERBOND Strong adhesion quartz primer - 750ml
VITEX SUPERBOND PRIMER is a high-adhesion quartz-based primer formulated with acrylic resins and quartz sand, suitable for interior and exterior surfaces.
It offers high resistance to alkalinity and is specially designed for smooth or low-absorbency substrates. After application, it creates a rough, textured surface that significantly improves the adhesion of subsequent coatings and building materials.
It is ideal before applying plaster, skim-coat fillers, microcement and external thermal-insulation systems. It can be used on exposed concrete, plasterboard, cement boards and polystyrene insulation boards.

Surface Preparation
Surfaces must be:
- Clean
- Dry
- Stable
- Free from dust
- Free from oil and grease
- Free from loose or poorly bonded material
Stir the product thoroughly before use until a uniform mixture is obtained and the quartz sand is evenly distributed.
Application
SUPERBOND PRIMER is supplied ready to use. Where required, it may be diluted with up to 5% water.
Apply one coat using:
- A roller
- A brush
The product should be applied in a way that maintains its rough and textured surface.
Plaster, microcement or the next finishing material may be applied after approximately 8–10 hours.
Drying times may vary depending on the ambient temperature, relative humidity and application thickness.

Application Conditions
For exterior use, do not apply when rain or frost is expected within the following 48 hours.

Clean tools immediately after use with water and, where necessary, soap or detergent.
