ISOMAT Joint sealing tape of elastomeric thermoplastic material for waterproofing wet areas 12cm x 10m
JOINT SEALING TAPE is a specialist flexible tape designed for waterproofing joints and connections in areas exposed to moisture, including bathrooms, kitchens and public shower facilities.
It consists of a modified polyester knitted fabric coated with an ageing-resistant thermoplastic elastomer. Its flexible central section helps bridge joints securely and accommodates minor substrate movement.
The tape is suitable for interior application on concrete, cement screeds, gypsum panels, masonry, terrazzo and existing tiled surfaces. It is embedded within the waterproofing material before tile installation, creating a continuous and reinforced waterproof barrier at vulnerable joints and corners.

Application Instructions
- Ensure that the substrate is stable, clean and suitable for tiling.
- Apply the waterproofing material over and around the joint.
- While the waterproofing layer is still fresh, place the JOINT SEALING TAPE and press it firmly into the material.
- Apply an additional coat of waterproofing material over the tape, covering it thoroughly.
- Allow the waterproofing system to harden completely.
- Install the tiles using a suitable high-performance tile adhesive.
