NANOPHOS SurfaPore W 1L is a water-based impregnation solution designed for waterproofing and oil protection of absorbent wooden surfaces. It combines active ingredients that repel water and oily stains, helping preserve wood and maintain its dimensional stability even in humid environments.
Its main function is the waterproofing of wood, protecting it from moisture, warping, dimensional changes, and decomposition. At the same time, it provides effective oil protection, making it suitable for wooden surfaces that require long-lasting maintenance and protection.
Unlike traditional varnishes, SurfaPore W does not visibly alter the treated surface and does not block the pores of the wood, allowing it to maintain its natural breathability. It is ideal for absorbent wood used in furniture, garden timber, pergolas, decks, docks, fences, façades, and roof supports.

Application Instructions

SurfaPore W should be applied on natural, absorbent wood. If an older coating, varnish, or film is present, remove it before application.

The application surface should be clean and dry. The product is ready to use and must not be diluted. Shake well before use.

Apply SurfaPore W with a brush, paint brush, roller, or sprayer, covering the surface evenly. Full effectiveness is achieved 24 hours after application.

On highly absorbent wooden surfaces, reapply within 2 hours. The recommended application temperature is 10°C to 35°C.

Recoating Information

The use of wood paints or varnishes after applying SurfaPore W may affect their shade or adhesion. Test application is recommended 72 hours after applying SurfaPore W.
