VITEX VITO ECO Ecological emulsion paint 3L - white

Ecological Formulation

VITO ECO does not contain:

• Aromatic hydrocarbons
• Ammonia
• Free formaldehyde
• Heavy metals
• Alkylphenol ethoxylates

Its low-odour formulation makes it suitable for use in homes and professional premises.

Applications

Suitable for new and previously painted interior surfaces such as:

• Concrete
• Plaster
• Brick
• Plasterboard
• Skim-coated surfaces
• Walls
• Ceilings
• Professional premises
• Areas requiring frequent repainting

Surface Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, dry and smooth, and free from:

• Dust
• Oil and grease
• Loose materials
• Dirt
• Flaking or poorly bonded existing paint

VITO ECO may be applied directly to previously painted surfaces that are in good condition and free from loose or damaged areas.

Holes and cracks may be filled and repaired using Acrylic Putty or Visto.

Previously limewashed or glue-painted surfaces should be primed with Acrylan Unco Eco.

New plaster, concrete, brick and plasterboard surfaces, as well as skim-coated surfaces, should be primed with Acrylan Unco Eco.

Surfaces stained by nicotine, smoke, markers, coffee or other substances should be primed with Blanco Eco.

For maximum coverage with dark or intense final shades, the use of PreColor Primer tinted through the Vitex Coloring system according to the final colour is recommended.

Application

Stir the product thoroughly before use and dilute with up to 10% water.

Apply the first coat using:

• A roller
• A brush
• An airless spray gun

Apply the second coat after approximately 3–4 hours.

Application should take place at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C and at a relative humidity below 80%.

The product should only be tinted using the Vitex Coloring system and the recommended tinting base.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Clean application tools immediately after use with water and, where necessary, soap or detergent.

Painted surfaces may be cleaned with a soft sponge and water after at least three weeks. A mild, colourless detergent may be used for persistent stains.
