Surface Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, dry and smooth, free from dust, grease, oil and loose or flaking materials.

VITEX Eco may be applied directly to previously painted surfaces that are in good condition and have no adhesion problems or loose areas.

Acrylic Putty or Visto may be used to fill holes and repair cracks.

Previously limewashed or distemper-painted surfaces should be primed with Acrylan Unco Eco.

New plaster, concrete, brickwork and plasterboard surfaces, as well as skim-coated surfaces, should be primed with Acrylan Unco Eco.

Surfaces stained with nicotine, smoke, marker ink, coffee or other difficult contaminants should be primed with Blanco Eco.

For maximum coverage when applying dark or intense finishing colours, such as blue, red or yellow, the use of PreColor Primer tinted through the Vitex Coloring System according to the selected final shade is recommended.

Application Instructions

1. Dilute the product with up to 10% clean water.
2. Stir thoroughly before use.
3. Apply the first coat using a roller, brush or airless spray gun.
4. Apply the second coat after 3–4 hours.

Application Tips

• Apply at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C.
• Relative humidity during application should be below 80%.
• The product should be tinted exclusively through the Vitex Coloring System using the recommended tinting base.
• Painted surfaces may be washed at least three weeks after application.
• Use a soft sponge and water for cleaning.
• A mild, colourless detergent may be used for persistent stains.
• Clean tools immediately after use with water and, when necessary, soap or detergent.
• Seal the container tightly after use and store any remaining product for future application.
• Do not dispose of cleaning water into the ground or groundwater system.
