The Eiger antimicrobial water filter is a high-performance solid activated carbon block cartridge manufactured from 100% coconut shell activated carbon. It is designed to reduce chlorine, unpleasant odours, unwanted tastes and selected organic and chemical substances from water.
It features antimicrobial protection that helps inhibit the growth of microorganisms within the filter, supporting its hygiene and filtration performance during use.
With a 0.5μm filtration rating, it retains very fine particles and sediment, including sand, silt, rust and suspended solids. The porous activated carbon surface adsorbs unwanted substances, helping significantly improve the taste and odour of drinking water.
It is compatible with countertop and under-counter filtration systems that accept standard 10″ x 2.5″ replacement cartridges.

Important Information
The antimicrobial action helps inhibit the growth of microorganisms within the filter. This product should not be considered a disinfection or sterilisation system for microbiologically unsafe water.
NSF/ANSI Standard 42 primarily covers aesthetic water-quality characteristics, including the reduction of chlorine, unwanted tastes and odours.
Actual filter life depends on incoming water quality, contaminant concentration, frequency of use and daily water consumption. Replacement is recommended after 12 months, once the nominal capacity has been reached, or when a noticeable reduction in water flow or change in taste and odour is observed.
This filter does not reduce water hardness or dissolved mineral salts.
