The AQUAPHOR K5 is a replacement sediment filter cartridge designed for compatible AQUAPHOR drinking water filtration systems. Unlike the K2 and K3 cartridges, the K5 is primarily a mechanical pre-filter, manufactured from polypropylene and designed to remove suspended particulate contaminants from the incoming water.
With a filtration rating of 5 micron, the K5 helps capture sand, rust, silt and other insoluble particles. By removing these contaminants at the pre-filtration stage, it also helps protect the subsequent filtration cartridges and maintain efficient operation of the complete water purification system.
Its quick-change cartridge construction provides convenient and hygienic replacement without the need to handle the internal filtration media.
