The Philips AUT4030R400 400 GPD Reverse Osmosis Under-Sink Water Filtration System is a compact, tankless Direct Flow solution featuring an efficient 4-stage filtration system. Its reverse osmosis membrane provides filtration down to 0.0001 micron, helping reduce chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides, bacteria, viruses, VOCs, microplastics and water hardness. The slim design, measuring only 114 mm wide, allows convenient installation in limited under-sink spaces without the need for a separate storage tank.
The system offers two filtration modes through its dedicated faucet: filtered water at up to 2 L/min and RO-purified water at approximately 1.1 L/min. It uses a 3-in-1 filter with coconut-shell activated carbon together with the RO membrane, while an integrated filter-life indicator reminds the user when replacement is required. The official Philips specifications indicate a filter life of approximately 12 months for the 3-in-1 cartridge and 36 months for the RO membrane.
