The AQUAFILTER FCCBKDF is a replacement water filter cartridge combining coconut shell Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) with KDF filtration media. The activated carbon effectively adsorbs chlorine, organic compounds and substances responsible for unpleasant taste and odour, while the KDF media enhances the cartridge's treatment capabilities and helps reduce selected heavy metals from the incoming water.
The combination of GAC and KDF provides complementary filtration, making the cartridge suitable for improving the quality and organoleptic properties of drinking water. The KDF media also provides bacteriostatic properties, helping inhibit bacterial growth within the cartridge. With dimensions of 9 7/8" × 2 1/2", it is designed for compatible standard 10-inch filter housings and can be incorporated into domestic and multi-stage water filtration systems.
