The NOGA NW5300 Siliphos is a 1 kg pack of sodium polyphosphate-based anti-scale media, intended for use in compatible refillable water-treatment cartridges and dosing systems. Siliphos gradually dissolves into the water and helps inhibit the formation of hard scale and mineral deposits, providing protection for pipes, water heaters and other water-using equipment.
Rather than removing calcium and magnesium through conventional ion-exchange softening, Siliphos works primarily by stabilising hardness minerals and inhibiting scale formation. It can also help form a protective layer on metallic surfaces, contributing to corrosion protection within compatible water installations. The bead form allows convenient refilling and replacement of the treatment media when required.
