The AQUAFILTER FCCA is a Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) replacement cartridge designed to improve the quality, taste and odour of drinking water. Its filtration media uses a blend of activated carbons, including coconut-shell granular activated carbon and bituminous activated carbon, providing effective adsorption of chlorine and unwanted organic compounds. AQUAFILTER specifies the FCCA series for both Point-of-Use (POU) and Point-of-Entry (POE) water filtration applications.
The cartridge helps reduce chlorine, unpleasant tastes and odours, pesticides and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the water supply. Its up-flow design increases contact time between the water and activated carbon for effective adsorption. With dimensions of 9 7/8" × 2 1/2", it is suitable for compatible standard 10-inch filter housings and can be incorporated into multi-stage domestic water filtration systems.
