The PHILIPS AWP3704 X-Guard is a compact on-tap water filtration system designed to provide filtered drinking water directly from the kitchen faucet. Its X-Guard filter uses high-quality natural activated carbon and reduces up to 99% of chlorine and taste-impairing substances, helping improve the taste and quality of mains tap water. Installation is simple using the appropriate faucet adapter, while the quick-twist design makes cartridge replacement easy.
The system provides three selectable water modes: filtered stream for drinking and cooking, unfiltered stream, and unfiltered shower mode for washing and cleaning. It offers a water flow rate of 2 L/min and a filtration capacity of up to 1,000 L, while an integrated timer reminds the user when the cartridge should be replaced. The system is compatible with both PHILIPS X-Guard AWP305 and X-Guard Ultra AWP315 replacement cartridges.
