Its special reticulated open-cell foam construction helps distribute polishing compound evenly and maintain consistent performance. It offers moderate abrasiveness with excellent finishing ability, making it ideal for removing light to medium swirl marks, minor scratches and paint imperfections.

In many cases, it can be used as a last polishing step, as it does not easily produce holograms when paired with the correct polishing compound. It is also suitable for light paint correction before using a finishing polish.
