The PHILIPS AUT870R400 is a replacement reverse osmosis filter with a nominal capacity of 400 GPD, designed as the main purification stage in a compatible PHILIPS RO water filtration system. Reverse osmosis technology provides extremely fine filtration, helping reduce dissolved contaminants, water hardness and other unwanted substances that conventional filtration may not effectively remove. PHILIPS RO technology provides filtration down to approximately 0.0001 micron, helping reduce contaminants such as chlorine, pesticides, heavy metals, bacteria and viruses, while also significantly reducing water hardness. The dedicated cartridge format is designed for straightforward replacement and reliable operation within its compatible PHILIPS filtration system. PHILIPS notes that actual filter life depends on daily water consumption and local inlet-water quality.

The PHILIPS AWP9820 X-Guard Power is a 3-stage scale inhibitor designed to protect water-heating household appliances against scale formation and sediment. It is suitable for applications such as water heaters, washing machines and dishwashers, helping reduce scale accumulation and extend protection of equipment exposed to hard water. Its 3-stage filtration system filters sediment down to 40 microns, while the X-Guard Power antiscalant technology helps inhibit scale formation caused by hardness minerals such as calcium and magnesium. The system has a filtration capacity of up to 27,000 litres and a filter lifetime of up to 6 months, depending on local water quality and usage. The unit is made from BPA-free material and accepts the PHILIPS AWP183 replacement cartridge. It should be noted that the AWP9820 is not a water softener: it inhibits scale formation rather than removing calcium and magnesium from the water.

The PHILIPS AUT812 is a 3-in-1 replacement pre-filter cartridge designed for compatible PHILIPS under-sink reverse osmosis water purification systems. Its multi-function filtration stage works before the RO membrane, helping reduce sediment, suspended particles and chlorine, thereby improving incoming water quality and helping protect the reverse osmosis membrane for consistent system performance. Designed for convenient maintenance, the AUT812 integrates multiple pre-filtration functions into a single compact cartridge, reducing the need for several separate filter housings. The cartridge shown is specified with 5-micron filtration and is intended for compatible PHILIPS RO systems. PHILIPS documentation for systems using the AUT812 specifies a filter lifetime of up to 12 months, depending on inlet-water quality and usage conditions.

The AQUAPHOR KH is a replacement water-softening cartridge designed for compatible AQUAPHOR Crystal and reverse osmosis systems. It contains ion-exchange resin and is specifically intended for the treatment of hard water. The cartridge reduces calcium and magnesium ions, which are responsible for water hardness and the formation of limescale. By reducing hardness, the KH helps protect subsequent filtration stages and water-using equipment from scale deposits while improving the performance of the complete filtration system. Unlike conventional disposable cartridges, the KH can be regenerated using a sodium chloride solution, allowing its ion-exchange capacity to be restored and the cartridge to be reused. The required regeneration frequency depends on the hardness of the incoming water and the volume of water treated.

The NOGA NW5091 is a compression adapter designed for use in water filtration and reverse osmosis installations. It provides a practical connection point between the existing water supply and the tubing used to feed a compatible filtration system. Its angled configuration makes it suitable for compact under-sink installations, where available space around the water supply connection may be limited. The threaded connection allows the adapter to be integrated into compatible plumbing fittings, while the side port provides the connection point for the filtration water line. The adapter is supplied with a sealing washer, helping provide a secure and watertight connection when correctly installed.
